It’s been a busy last few weeks for our Pull Testing team! They’ve been out on site making their way up and down a 4-storey office block, putting existing fasteners and fixings through their paces with some thorough pull testing.
A big chunk of their work right now involves testing out M8 hammerset “drop-in” anchors to make sure they’re still fully up to the job for a mix of M&E setups:
🔹 36mm & 4-inch waste pipes
🔹 Lightweight ducting systems
🔹 HVAC condenser units
They’ve also been checking how concrete screws are holding up (keeping the Unistrut fixed straight to the concrete), along with testing shot-fired fixings that keep ceiling grids, diffusers, and lighting safely overhead.
We don’t just test existing installations either, our team can also support new projects from the start, helping verify fixings before full installation begins.
