The Makita DFS251 is a high-powered, brushless TEK screwdriver that is ideal for roofers and fencers. It features a push drive technology that only engages the motor when screws are inserted into a board and load is placed on the screw tip, which helps to save battery power and extend the life of the tool. The DFS251 is also equipped with an all-metal gearbox that provides durability and a long lifespan. The DFS251 is supplied as a body only, so batteries and chargers must be purchased separately. However, the DFS251 is compatible with all Makita 18V LXT batteries and chargers, so you can use the batteries and chargers that you already have with other Makita tools.
