The Certifix CFSSC2 BiMetal A2, 4.5x24mm Countersunk with SIT®20 cleat screw is a specialized drilling solution designed for the chipless fixing of standing seam cleats to thin-walled sheet metal substructures under 1 mm. Built from high-quality A2 stainless steel bimetal with a blue zinc-plated finish and nickel strike, these screws are engineered specifically for roofing and façade construction. The unique thin sheet metal tip displaces material downwards rather than cutting it, which prevents sharp metal chips from damaging sensitive, non-breathable membranes. This displacement also creates more thread turns in the material, resulting in exceptionally high pull-out values even in very thin components. Designed for speed and reliability, the CF-RP-T2-SSK features a double thread for fast screw-in times and a flat washer countersunk head that allows standing seam sheets to slide smoothly over the fastening point. Installation is made secure by the SIT® 20 drive and a specialized locking serration that provides both overtightening protection and permanent loosening resistance. This ensures that the screws do not work loose over time while still allowing for easy position corrections during the initial install without damaging the cleat.
