Certifix CertiBoard Fibre Cement Sheathing Boards are high quality, versatile building boards that are tough, smooth, durable, and very easy to work with. This makes them perfect for internal and external sheathing, as well as for decking, underlayment and subflooring applications. The boards are manufactured using the latest technology and employing the ‘Hatschek’ process, which builds up a number of laminations of a slurry mix of core ingredients on a large steel ‘size roller’.  When the required thickness is reached, the fibre board is cut away, trimmed to size, then sacked and left for a short period of pre-curing. The final curing, in a high pressure steam autoclave, changes the chemical structure of the cement/silica sand matrix to create the highly durable, stronger characteristics of the Certifix CertiBoard Fibre Cement Sheathing Board.
